What is Virtual Live Training ?

Virtual live training is simply live instructor-led training that is
conducted online. Attendees will be able to see and hear the
instructor and the slides of the course – all online.

What do attendees need to participate for the virtual course?

Just a computer connected to the
internet. Speakers and a microphone too if attendees want to ask questions orally (online Q&A tool can also be used to asked questions).

How will attendees attend and participate?

Easy to use, attendees will receive an email with WebEx access information prior to the training start. When it’s time
to join the course, attendees simply click on the link to log in,

Length of the Virtual Live
Training sessions:

You and the instructor agree as to what course length will work best. Training can be split into several sessions. i.e. a traditional 2-day in-person course could be split into 4 half-day virtual training sessions.

Advantages of ASTM Virtual Training

Can be Accessed Anywhere. Attendees can participate from anywhere they have an internet connection.

Recording. A recording of the training will be made available to attendees for 45 days after the event for learners to review the content at their convenience.

Digital Workbooks. All attendees will be sent a link to access the WebEx platform to get to the digital workbook, related ASTM standards, etc. A digital workbook allows for annotations to be made, and makes it easier to search and find relevant content during, or after the training.

Interactive. Additional interactive learning features can be included such as polls, quizzes, breakout rooms for learners to work on exercises in small groups, and learner chat.

More cost effective No attendee travel and accommodation costs. Allows more employees to participate. Attendees can all be in one location, or at different locations worldwide, including their homes.
